The new Frederic V. Malek West Point Visitors Center will serve as the front door to the United States Military Academy. Visitors will learn about the role West Point’s military training and educational curriculum play in America’s history, its present, and its future. Replacing an outdated and inadequate facility, the new Malek West Point Visitors Center will truly reflect the image of West Point as the world’s premier leader development institution and will orient visitors to West Point, reaffirm the value of this institution to the general public, and inspire future generations of cadets and leaders.

Named for lead donor Frederic V. Malek ’59, the project also received contributions from eight West Point classes as part their class reunion campaigns. These gifts are being recognized through Class of 1972 Plaza, the Class of 1973 Theater, the Class of 1974 Atrium, and the Class of 1978 Courtyard; the Classes of 1984, 1990, and 2004 are each being recognized with a Class Crest on an exterior arch of the new facility; and the Class of 1988 through the Legacy of Leaders and Leadership Excellence exhibits.
