Joe Marino has been named the new Executive Director at Veterans Florida, a non-profit corporation dedicated to helping veterans transition into civilian life. As executive director, Marino will oversee the administration, programs and the corporations strategic plan of the organization.
Veterans Florida aims to reinforce Florida's standing as the most veteran-friendly state in the nation by helping veterans develop and implement the skills needed by Florida employers. The non-profit organization provides veteran-friendly education and programs designed to maximize veteran employment opportunities. For veterans wishing to start their own business, the Veterans Florida Entrepreneurship Program provides them the necessary knowledge to successfully launch and operate a company.
