Craig Ackerman has been named to the new role of vice president for operations and transformation at MITRE, a new organization comprised of the business transformation program, corporate real estate, contracts and acquisition management, and a newly formed operational risk management function.
"As we continue to grow our team and build strong internal capabilities at MITRE, Craig's track record of leading strategic transformation with agility and developing the talent to facilitate adoption across the enterprise will be a real asset," said Usha Chaudhary, senior vice president for corporate operations and chief transformation officer.
Ackerman most recently served as a principal in the federal practice at Chazey Partners, a global advisory firm, working with federal and local government clients to develop more efficient service delivery operations. His previous roles include senior leadership positions at Day & Zimmerman, Parsons Brinckerhoff, and SAIC.
