Hand ’82 Debuts “Americana Corner” Newspaper Column

Tom Hand ’82 has started writing a weekly newspaper column entitled “Americana Corner,” for the Bryan County News in Georgia. The column is part of his educationally-based philanthropy focused on promoting the positive aspects of America’s history. Hand’s hope is to offer an uplifting story that reminds Americans of our many heroes and their accomplishments. His weekly articles will detail the lives of the outstanding men and women who built this great country, as well as major American events during our formative years. The goal is to help teach and inspire Americans, especially younger Americans, about the many reasons for which we should be grateful to our ancestors. Read the debut article.
