Shane Kimbrough will serve as commander of NASA and SpaceX's Crew-2 mission flying to the International Space Station next week. Kimbrough will take command of Crew Dragon for his third trip to space, currently slated for liftoff from Kennedy Space Center at 6:11 a.m. April 22. He will spend six months aboard the ISS with three others traveling in the capsule: NASA colleague Megan McArthur, European Space Agency astronaut Thomas Pesquet, and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Aki Hoshide.
