Steve Townes ’75 continues doing aerospace buyouts and consolidations, which he has practiced for over half of his entrepreneurial career in a long series of growth platforms. For the past five years, his Ranger Aerospace holding company has been doubling the worldwide scope of their air cargo services & logistics company, ACL Airshop, to 55 major air hubs on 6 continents. In late April 2021, he merged ACL into a large global infrastructure group called Alinda Capital. Townes will remain CEO of ACL Airshop and co-invested in the capital structure of the deal.
