Mr. George Silides, from the Class of 1946, had his poem “My Country, What of Thee (A Life in Rhyme)” published in the San Diego Union-Tribune. Silides, 99, is a civil engineer and former Alaska state senator. He lives in Escondido, CA with his wife.
