Michaela and David Culkin ’91 have released OCD and Marriage: Pathways to Reshaping Your Lives Together. They are professional educators who have lived with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) for over 25 years in their marriage. Michaela has served as an elementary school teacher and principal for over 20 years and earned her doctorate in curriculum and instruction at the University of Kansas. David retired from the military and works as an adult educator, earning a doctorate from Kansas State University. “Our goal of this book is simple: by telling our story, we can continue to heal while helping others who are in different parts along their journey. OCD does not and will not be allowed to take over a marriage.”
