Whitefish Veterans Support Team was conceived by Steve Shea while attending a fundraising event for wounded veterans in New York City in 2007. Being blessed with a second home in Whitefish, Steve wanted to share that special place with special people so they could heal and reintegrate. They recently had a therapeutic retreat for paratroopers from 2-501 PIR (Geronimo!) 1st BCT, 82nd ABN DIV returning from Afghanistan assisting with the withdrawal.
