The U.S. Senate voted 93-2 to approve the nomination of Douglas Bush ’93, to be the assistant secretary of the U.S. Army for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (ASA(ALT)). In this role, Bush will be responsible for leading the Army’s acquisition enterprise, overseeing all Army acquisition programs, and advising the Army secretary on acquisition programs and policies. Bush served in the Army’s 24th Infantry Division and 3rd Infantry Division, worked as a congressional staff member for more than 18 years and previously was a national security analyst at the Association of the U.S. Army.
