“Triple Play” Honors for COL (R) Ruderman ’66

With his recent selection for the Florida Veterans Hall of Fame (FVHOF), COL (R) Gill Ruderman ’66, completed a triad of honors over recent years. The FVHOF recognizes Florida veterans who have made significant post-service contributions to National, State and Local activities as a volunteer; there are only 121 members. In 2016, he was selected as Manatee County’s Veteran of the Year for his support of veterans, veteran organizations and veteran activities, also as a volunteer. In 2021, he was inducted into the University of Florida Rugby Hall of Fame as a member of its second class for his on-field skills and leadership in the 1970’s while stationed there.
