During their 50th Reunion, the Class of 1972 presented a 50th Reunion Gift of $6,200,000 to the Frederic V. Malek West Point Visitors Center; the Cyber & Engineering Academic Center; the Michie Stadium Preservation Project; the Army Cyber Institute; and the Cyber Research Center. Mr. Bill Britain and Mr. Bob Allbright represented the Class in presenting this historic gift to Superintendent LTG Darryl A. Williams ’83, and Todd Browne ’85. This gift sets a new record for Class Reunion Gifts.
It should be noted that the Class of ‘72 raised $7.2M in this campaign. And, collectively, they have given $14.1M to West Point since they graduated 50 years ago. We thank the class for its outstanding generosity. Proud and True ’72!
