Award in Ethical Leadership Presented to COL (R) Gadson ’89

The George C. Marshall International Center presented the Award in Ethical Leadership to COL (R) Greg Gadson ’89 at the Center’s annual gala on April 29. COL (R) Gadson is the first recipient of the award which is presented to one recipient each year who “embodies the principles of selfless service, unwavering integrity and visionary leadership that characterized the life and example of its namesake.” In May 2007, as commander of the 2nd Battalion, 32nd Field Artillery, an improvised explosive device (IED) attack cost the former Army Football linebacker both legs above the knees and normal use of his right arm and hand.
