On May 13, COL (R) David Ashley ’97, who commissioned in the Air Force upon graduation, scaled Mount Everest, the world's highest mountain, becoming the first living kidney donor to climb the highest mountains on each of the seven continents. Ashley reached the summit point at around 8am Nepal time. In 2017, Ashley donated a kidney to a classmate in need. Congratulations COL (R) Ashley on setting the new world record! Read more.
