Three from Women’s Rugby Earn NIRA All-Academic Honors

Army West Point Women’s Rugby had three representatives on the NIRA All-Academic Team. 2LT Kaitlyn Schwarting ’22, 2LT Rebecca Syrup ’22 and 2LT Nicole Wantlin ’22 capped off their careers by earning recognition for not only their efforts on the pitch but in the classroom as well. NIRA utilizes CoSIDA’s Academic All-America criteria for its selection process. To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.30 GPA. Read more.
