Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) Special Agent Star Hy ’01 received the 2022 Women in Federal Law Enforcement (WIFLE) Julie Y. Cross Award for her role in the August 2021 drawdown of the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan, and for assisting with subsequent humanitarian operations in the country.
