September Declared Suicide Prevention Month at West Point

Superintendent LTG Steve Gilland ’90 declared September Suicide Prevention Month at West Point and signed a proclamation along with CSM Michael J. Coffey, U.S. Army Garrison Commander COL Anthony J. Bianchi ’97, and CSM Michel Fraser. September is observed as National Suicide Prevention Month, a time when individuals and organizations across the nation come together to raise awareness and promote resources to prevent suicide. Call 9-8-8 or text 838255 any time of day, seven days a week to receive support for suicidal, mental health, and substance abuse crises. The line will connect callers to trained crisis counselors.
