COL John McHugh ’86 a 24-year veteran serving in the Army had attended West Point and earned two master’s degrees. At the time of his death, he left behind his wife Connie, five children, Michael, Kelley, Kristen, Maggie, David, and a granddaughter Abigail Lynne. Mayor Joseph Tempesta who presided over the ceremony thanked the hosts of the event, Dr. Al Josephsen and his family who had been friends and neighbors for many years with the McHugh family for graciously welcoming all to the ceremony.
