Scout Ventures Welcomes Cody Huggins '12 as Principal

Scout Ventures, an Austin-based venture capital firm, is excited to announce that Cody Huggins '12 has joined the firm as a Principal in the Austin office. Cody brings a wealth of experience in both operations and finance to Scout Ventures. He comes from a venture studio in Austin, where he managed the technology vertical of the business, composed of 10 startups in InsureTech, FinTech, Web3, and PropTech. Prior to this experience, Cody was the Treasurer at FTC Solar, where he co-led their $258M initial public offering (IPO) and established a $100M revolving credit facility. With a background in operations and program management, Cody will be a valuable asset to Scout Ventures as they continue to scale and grow. Cody holds a BS in Business Management from West Point and served six years as an Infantry Officer, with his last assignment as a Ranger Instructor. Read more.
