In a ceremony conducted on November 14th, 2014, in Kaiserslautern, Germany, Chris Bachmann was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) in the United States Army. This promotion took on added significance because it was the lowest Army promotion rate to LTC in the past 17 years.
