Retired Col. Richard "Doc" Hesse, Class of 1945 graduate in wheel chair, places a wreath with the help of Cadet First Capt. Austin Welch at Sylvanus Thayer's statue during the Alumni Wreath Laying Ceremony earlier today. The 93-year-old Hesse was the oldest graduate at the ceremony.
