The 14th Military Police Brigade is now under the command of Col. Niave Knell, following an assumption-of-command ceremony 5/19/2015 on Gammon Field. Brig. Gen. Mark Spindler, Military Police Corps Regiment chief and U.S. Army Military Police School commandant, officiated over the ceremony. Lt. Col. David McNeill, 795th Military Police Battalion commander, served as interim brigade commander for about a month.
“(Lt. Col. David McNeill) stepped up to the plate without any hesitation,” Spindler said. “There was no loss in momentum and he did the job the way it needed to be done.
