COL (R) Roger Conover ’48 called it “one of the better March Backs.” He should know; he has participated in 14 out the 16 March Backs that have taken place since “old grads” began marching with new cadets on the 12-mile trek from Camp Buckner in 1999. New Cadet Jake Adcock ’19 just called it “a long slow grind” and a “fitting end to Beast,” the name given to the six-week Cadet Basic Training (CBT) program. “Beast isn’t particularly difficult on a day-to-day basis, but it can be overwhelming when you consider the entire stretch of it,” Adcock said. “March Back is the perfect complement to Beast.” Full Story»
