As part of our ongoing efforts to improve West Point Association of Graduates’ data security and to comply with applicable online security standards, effective August 31st, WPAOG will be making a change to our website (www.westpointaog.org) that will require visitors to be using web browser software that supports current encryption standards.

This change is mandated by PCI (Payment Card Industry) data security standards, to which we have to adhere as a result of accepting credit card donations and payments on the website. This change is also required to protect your personal, and WPAOG’s, data.

The following web browsers comply with current PCI standards and will continue to access our website without any change:

Internet Explorer 11
Android 4.4.2
Android 5.0
Chrome 42
Firefox 31.30 ESR  on Windows  7
Firefox 37 on Macintosh OSX
Safari 6  on iOS 6.0.1
Safari 7 on iOS 7.1
Safari 7 on Macintosh OSX 10.9
Safari 8 on iOS 8.1.2
Safari 8 on Macintosh OSX 10.10

Some older browsers do not meet these security standards. After August 31st, you may need to update your browser in order to access the WPAOG website.

The benefit to you of upgrading your browser software (if necessary) is that your information will be more secure, not only when you visit the WPAOG website, but also on every website you visit.

If you get an error message when trying to visit westpointaog.org after August 31st, upgrading to the newest release of your browser software should resolve the issue.

If you need to download the latest version of your browser you can send an email to  browserlinks@wpaog.org and receive an automatic reply with links to upgrade commonly used browsers.
