Jim Noles was awarded the Alabama Humanities Foundation (AHF)’s Wayne Greenhaw Service Award at the AHF’s annual awards luncheon for his leadership on the organization’s board of directors and his successful efforts to establish the AHF’s first endowment. Jim served on the AHF’s board for nine years and served two years as its chairman. Jim is a partner at Balch & Bingham LLP, a corporate law firm, in Birmingham, Alabama, where he practices environmental law. AHF, Alabama’s affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, connects Alabama’s communities through engagement in the humanities, tailoring its programs and funding projects to address prevalent needs.
