COL(R) Crossley ’80 Centerstone's Exec Dir of Military Svc

We are thrilled to announce Centerstone has hired retired Colonel Kent Crossley as the Executive Director of Centerstone Military Services (CMS). Courage Beyond is a program of Centerstone Military Service along with Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF), Veterans Entering Transition (VET) Home, and Indiana Veterans Behavioral Health Network.

Kent served in multiple command and leadership positions, including: Commander of 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) in Ft. Campbell, Ky., Commander of the 364th Civil Affairs Brigade in Portland, Ore. and Iraq, Chief of the Center for Army Lessons-Learned in Ft. Leavenworth, Kan., Special Forces Operations Officer in Iraq, and Lessons-Learned Team Leader in Norfolk, Va.

Also a 15-year U.S. Forest Service civil engineer, Kent retired from military service in 2010 for a role with the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) in Washington, D.C., a defense contractor working with the military to reduce improvised explosive device casualties and develop equipment for IED detection. For the last two years, Kent has served as owner and president of Libre Energy Utility Professionals, a small business that reduces energy consumption in commercial and industrial buildings.
