A statewide partnership of hospital groups including Premier Health and Cleveland Clinic has named its first CEO. The Midwest Health Collaborative, the Columbus-based alliance of six of the biggest hospital groups in the state, has named Daniel Kueter as CEO, effective May 23. Kueter will help lead the development of the network and its patient-facing strategies.
Formerly CEO of the University of Iowa Health Alliance, Kueter has an MBA from Harvard Business School and 20 years of business leadership experience, said Premier Health in a release. The mega-partnership was announced early last year, including Premier, Cleveland Clinic, OhioHealth in Columbus, TriHealth in Cincinnati, Aultman in the Canton area and ProMedica in the Toledo area.
