Peterson ’82 Named President and CEO of National Test Pilot School

Al Peterson was selected to be the President and CEO of the National Test Pilot School at the Mojave Air and Space Port in Mojave CA. He took over in June of 2011 after leaving Sierra Nevada Corporation in Sparks (Reno) NV after 9 years. The National Test Pilot School trains test pilots and flight test engineers from around the world and are the only civilian Test Pilot School in the World that is recognized by the Society of Experimental Test Pilots. He works regularly with Pat Garman ’82 (also F-4) who is on the governing Board of Trustees. Pat is a VP at Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) in Sparks, NV. Al is also a local politician having run for and been elected to the Board of Directors of the Mojave Air and Space Port (a California Special District). He just finished up my term as President of the Board.
