The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association announced its Scholar All-Americans recently and seniors Austin Schultz and Jimbo Moore were among the names honored for their work in the classroom. The pair was included on a list of 43 scholar-athletes from around the country. Army was the only Patriot League member with two honorees as there were a total of seven players from the conference from six institutions. Schultz graduated in May with a degree in Economics and recorded a 3.625 cumulative grade point average at West Point and was an All-Patriot League First Team performer in 2016, while also being picked as a Patriot League All-Academic Team member as well. Moore joined Schultz in graduating from West Point in May. He earned a degree in Systems Engineering with a 3.582 GPA. Moore enjoyed his best season as a Black Knight in 2016 as an All-Patriot League First Team selection for the first time in his career. He was named to the All-Academic Team as well. Read More
