Sedgwick LLP announced that DiAnna Thimjon has joined the firm as its chief information officer. She will lead the firm's international Information Technology operations from its Kansas City office. An innovative executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience, Thimjon excels at aligning people, processes and technology with organizational vision. Thimjon joins Sedgwick after having served as vice president and enterprise project officer at American Century Investments, an international, privately held investment management firm. At American Century, Thimjon was responsible for creating, building and managing the new enterprise business project management office. She also established executive and senior executive governance boards and formed collaborative, strategic partnerships across the company.
In addition to her experience at American Century, Thimjon served as a co-founder and chief information officer for D2Cycles Inc., where she created, built, grew and technologically enabled a B2C, B2B e-commerce retail salvage motorcycle start-up with 2,500 domestic and international customers in more than 30 countries, including three continents -- Asia, South America and Australia.
