WPSOA Hosts Its 2022 BEAT NAVY Farewell Dinner

On Dec 6 2022, The West Point Society of Annapolis (WPSOA) hosted its 34th Winter Social, now referred to as our BEAT NAVY/Farewell Dinner, for the seven exchange cadets who are completing their fall semester at the Naval Academy. Twenty-four attendees, including the seven exchange cadets, gathered at O'Briens Oyster Bar & Seafood Tavern in Annapolis MD, for the event. In addition to the fellowship that good company, food and drink bring, the highlights of the evening were the exchange cadets describing their experiences at the Naval Academy, and their involvement in this year's "Spirit Mission" at the Naval Academy with fellow cadets from West Point. The evening concluded with the signing of the WPSOA "Beat Navy" banner by the exchange cadets, an annual remembrance tradition since 1996.
