Saint Leo University has announced the ninth president to head the private catholic school in rural Pasco County. William J. Lennox Jr., already a member of the Board of Trustees, will start his new role this summer. He replaces outgoing President Arthur K. Kirk Jr., who is retiring after 18 years at the school.
The board of trustees selected Lennox because of his experience leading soldiers, veterans, faculty and students, as well as his familiarity with Saint Leo, according to a Friday statement.
