LTG Anderson ’81 and His Command to Premier on DIRECTV

A DocuSeries on LTG Joe Anderson ‘81 and his command in Afghanistan will premier on 19 May on DIRECTV. For over three months, producer Ricky Schroder, followed LTG Anderson and his units as they completed the ‘last combat’ missions in Afghanistan leading up to the national elections. Ricky, famous for his work in Silver Spoons and Lonesome Dove, became friends with LTG Anderson and gained unprecedented access to operations. Three story-lines over the six episodes follow efforts to catch a insurgent code named Arctic Fox, operations by the Spartan Brigade of 10th Mountain Division, and Afghan advising by a West Point Professor with the Kabul Police.
