Litchfield ’71 Named to The National Advocates Top 100

Auburn Attorney Robert L. Litchfield was named to The National Advocates: Top 100 on June 15, as one of the top 100 bankruptcy lawyers in the state of California, a press release said. Litchfield is the author of seven published books, including the recent book about Auburn-area homeless people called “ Until they have faces.” He has practiced law for more than 35 years. He also teaches business law at Sierra College, where he and three other local attorneys wrote a textbook on business law (“Practical Business Law”) that is used in Sierra College business law classes, the release said.

Litchfield is a graduate of West Point and a former captain in the United States Air Force. He graduated second in his law school class at McGeorge School of Law in 1980. He is a member of the prestigious Order of the Coif, for academic excellence in the study of the law, and was published in the Pacific Law Journal. He is a member of Auburn Rotary, and serves on the advisory boards of Auburn Salvation Army and Acres of Hope. He also served pro bono as the attorney adviser to the Sierra Economic Development Corporation. He has been a candidate for Superior Court judge. Read More
