ARLINGTON, Va., The Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation (http://www.cmohfoundation.org) appointed Walmart U.S. executive vice president Chris Sultemeier to the Board of Directors at the Foundation meeting. Sultemeier, who joined Walmart in 1989, is executive vice president of logistics for Walmart U.S. He has company responsibility for all distribution centers, fulfillment centers and domestic and global ocean transportation functions.
His previous role was senior vice president of transportation services. He served in the U.S. Army, where he attained the rank of captain, prior to joining Walmart. "It's humbling to represent Walmart on this amazing Board and support this incredibly important mission," he said. "I'm well aware of the sacrifices these heroes have made on our behalf, and on behalf of our country, and of the sacrifices they're still making to safeguard our future.
