The GI Film Festival is proud to present a Cinematic Salute to the Troops, in select cinemas nationwide for an extraordinary one-night event! This April 7th showcase is the first time Fathom Events has ever screened a military themed show and if there is enough interest, they will screen even more positive military stories.

Hosted by actor and comedian Jamie Kaler, this incredible event will feature two true stories of bravery, integrity and leadership in the inspiring Wounded Warrior story CLIMB and the WW2 special operations thriller THE REAL INGLORIOUS BASTARDS, plus celebrity commentary from First Lady Michelle Obama, Dr. Jill Biden, Gary Sinise, Adam Driver, Danny Trejo and more!

After both features, catch a behind-the-scenes look into GI Film Festival DC X, including a sneak peek at the military apocalyptic zombie movie Range 15 which premieres at GIFF X in DC this May. Range 15 stars William Shatner, Sean Astin and Danny Trejo and was produced and directed by military veterans!

Gather friends and family as we all come together to honor the warrior spirit!

The GI Film Festival was founded by West Point ’94 grad Laura Law-Millett and her husband Brandon Millett. Described as “Sundance for the Troops,” GIFF's mission is to preserve the stories of military veterans through film, television, training and live special events. GI Film Festival events provide an exceptionally diverse line-up of programming, covering all branches of service, every major conflict, and every major film genre while addressing a variety of issues of concern to the veteran community, including post-traumatic stress, homelessness, and unemployment.
