The West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) Board of Directors is pleased to announce that COL(R) Todd Browne ’85 has been named as WPAOG’s new President and CEO. Browne has served as the Association’s Chief Operating Officer since 2014. He succeeds COL(R) Robert L. “Bob” McClure ’76, the Association’s President and CEO since 2007, who will retire from WPAOG on June 30.
West Point Association of Graduates Board Chairman LTG(R) Larry R. Jordan ’68, said, “Since Bob’s retirement plans were announced last August, the Board of Directors of the West Point Association of Graduates has been engaged in an intensive search to identify his successor. The Search Committee evaluated nearly 40 qualified candidates, and the final decision was challenging, as each possessed notable strengths and abilities. We believe that Todd Browne is superbly prepared for the responsibilities of leading the Association of Graduates and will be able to step in and be effective immediately. With his two decades of experience at West Point, serving in Admissions, on the faculty, as Director of Academy Advancement, and recently as Chief Operating Officer of WPAOG, he understands all facets of the Academy and its graduates.” Read full press release.
