Jeffrey C. Agnew ’06, Brandon T. Frei ’08 and Brandon B. Gilles ’07 were welcomed into the Olmsted Scholar Program at the Annual Reunion on June 4,2016 at the Anderson House in Washington, D.C. The Olmsted Foundation selects the finest young military officers to become Olmsted Scholars. Top candidates show an aptitude for leadership and the qualities that accompany it: Self-discipline, drive, a spirit of adventure and a history of personal achievement. For over five decades Olmsted Scholars have pursued graduate studies at foreign universities in topics ranging from political science and history to literature. But the true power of the Olmsted Scholar Program comes from the experience of full immersion in foreign countries and cultures across the globe.
