Neal Creighton current Civilian Advisor at West Point, is serving at the helm of the growing security startup focused on endpoint detection and response, CounterTack. Creighton attended US Army Ranger School and served for five years as an officer in the U.S. Army. After his service in the Army, he attended Northwestern University, where he received a Juris Doctor and an MBA. Applying his military mindset and business knowhow, Neal pursued a career in cybersecurity and since has led many successful companies to acquisition (e.g. he co-founded GeoTrust--acquired by VeriSign for $125M).
Most recently Creighton is helping CounterTack achieve impressive industry success and company growth. Last month CounterTack announced that it raised $10 million in funding from a portfolio of strategic investors. The funding will be leveraged to support the explosive growth of CounterTack’s EDR platform Sentinel. This comes on the heels of the news that CounterTack experienced nearly 150% year-over-year growth in the APAC market as well as recognition from a leading analyst firm Gartner (CounterTack received “Strong” ratings across all five categories in Gartner’s June 2016 EDR report).
Additionally, Creighton was recently profiled by the Boston Business Journal where the editor draws a parallel of his company mission and recent successes to his background at West Point.
