CPT Heath A. Hawk graduated from the USMA in 1997 with a bachelor of science degree in Russian and Spanish. He graduated in the top 10% of his graduating class with academic honors. After graduation, he entered the U.S. Army as an infantry officer. Heath successfully completed the U.S. Army Airborne and Ranger schools and began his active duty service as a platoon leader. He served in the Republic of Korea as well as part of the NATO stabilization force in Bosnia-Herzegovina. In 2002, Heath left the Army to attend law school at the University of Kansas. He received his Juris Doctor in 2005 and graduated in the top 10% of his class.
MAJ Jerrod E. Hawk spent one year at Marion Military Institute in Alabama. The following year he received a Congressional nomination and acceptance to attend USMA. Jerrod graduated in 1999 with a bachelor of science degree in management and leadership and a minor in systems engineering. As a cadet, he was recognized with the General John H. Forney Historical Society Award for achieving the highest military grade in his second year and the Superintendent’s award for excellence in academics, leadership, and physical fitness. Upon graduation, Jerrod was commissioned an Armor 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army. Over the past 16 years, Maj.
